LB938 Use of a scalp clarifying shampoo in the treatment of lichen planopilaris and female pattern hair loss

Patients routinely inquire whether shampoos are helpful in the treatment of hair loss disorders. Despite evidence that suggests scalp health is important for growth,1 many haircare product formulations contain known irritants and/or allergens.2,3 In this randomized control trial, we evaluated use a non-medicated, hypo-allergenic scalp-clarifying shampoo on patient reported outcomes and clinical severity lichen planopilaris (LPP) female pattern (FPHL).
